The 2014 June 22 Mugen Ryu tournament was held at the Tsukishima Sport
Plaza and again it was filled with a lot of emotion and high spirits. We saw so many kids trying out and all doing so well in their matches
and in their support for other. This time was not team based events but individual challenges from all
ages. As Yamaguchi-Sensei said there will be winner and there will be losers
but it was so wonderful to see those who did not win do so well. Yamaguchi-Sensei commended all these students and admired their
fighting spirit and soul karate. As he always reminds us, it’s it the mind and soul that matters the
most.
